Tropic Wings now connects Cairns City, Palm Cove and Port Douglas with a direct shared shuttle service — no airport stop, no long detours. Whether you're checking out of one hotel and into another, taking a day trip up the coast, or simply moving between destinations, this is the most relaxed way to travel the Captain Cook Highway.
Two morning and afternoon departures daily in each direction. Pick-up from select hotels near you, drop-off at or near your accommodation. Luggage included. Child fares available for ages 2–14.

Hotel Transfer FAQ
Do these transfers stop at the airport?
No — that's the point. Our hotel-to-hotel service travels directly between Cairns City, Palm Cove and Port Douglas accommodation without any airport stop. If you need an airport pick-up or drop-off, see our Airport Shuttle Transfer.
Where exactly does the transfer pick me up?
Pick-up is from select hotels near you in each area. Exact pick-up location details are confirmed at the time of booking. If your accommodation isn't on the pick-up list, you may need to make your way to the nearest pick-up point.
How many services run each day?
Two departures per day in each direction — a morning and an afternoon service. See the timetable above for exact times on each route.
Are child fares available?
Yes — children aged 2–14 travel at half the adult fare. Please advise child ages at the time of booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 100% cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 24 hours prior to departure or for no-shows. Services do not operate on Christmas Day (25 December).
Will I be sharing the vehicle with other passengers?
Yes — this is a shared shuttle service. Vehicles may also be shared with passengers from Tropic Wings Palm Cove & Port Douglas Day Tours. If you'd prefer an exclusive vehicle, see our Private Transfer.
