Amphibious Army Duck Tour At Rainforestation

It doesn’t get more quirky than exploring the rainforest from an original World War 2 Army Duck! These incredible vehicles were manufactured between 1942 and 1944, that makes them around 77 years old!

Hop aboard this amphibious duck and go quackers as you explore the rainforest. The passionate duck driver will point out rainforest flora and fauna as you make your way down the rainforest track. Your duck driver will become a captain as the vehicle transforms into a boat and glides across the man-made lake. Look out for water dragons and the bright blue Ulysses butterfly!

The Famous Waterfall Circuit

Head to the Atherton Tablelands and spend the day waterfall hopping on the Waterfall Circuit and meander through the rainforest too three stunning waterfalls; Millaa Millaa Falls, Zillie Fallas and Ellinjaa Falls.

Millaa Millaa Falls is a dreamy plunge waterfall surrounded by divine rainforest. Believe us when we say that there’s a reason it’s the most photographed waterfall in Australia!

Zillie Falls have a fantastic viewing platform of the top of the falls.

Ellinjaa Falls can be reached by a short walk through the rainforest that is lined with stunning tree ferns and winding vines. Watch water gracefully cascade over lava columns and keep an eye out for turtles!

 

Jungle Surfing
